This form is accessed via Vehicle Administration / Service Schedules / Output Vehicle Planners.
The Output Vehicle Planners form is displayed which provides the facility to print or export the vehicle service schedule planner scheduled items, weeks due, etc) for a specified date range for: a customer; a range of customers; a repairer; or an individual vehicle registration number.
Note: There are a number of different Planner formats and the required planner format for an individual customer must be defined within the Planner Type field in the Service Scheduling Group Box of the Maintenance Control Tab within Address Groups. The number of weeks for which the planner is to be printed/exported is also specified within this Group Box.
The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Output Vehicle Planners Dialogue Box and a series of Command Buttons at the bottom of the form.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The Output Vehicle Planners Dialogue Box contains a number of fields that may be used, individually or in conjunction with each other, to provide data selection criteria for the printing or exporting of a service schedule planner.
The address group of the customer for which the service schedule planner is to be output.
Enter the Customer Address Group (e.g. MINERVA) directly or select the
button immediately to the right of this field to initiate a Customer search. A single-left-click of the
button displays an Address Group Search form that enables selection from the current available address groups. The cursor is located in the search field. Key part or all of the required customer address group code (uppercase characters are required) and select the Address Group command button. Address Groups matching the entered criteria are displayed and, having selected the required group by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Output Vehicle Planners form.
Tip: This field can be used in conjunction with the To field to output a service schedule planner for a range of customers.
The address group of the customer for which the service schedule planner is to be output. This field can be used in conjunction with the Customer field to output a service schedule planner for a range of customers. If a service schedule planner is to be output for just one customer then the same address group code is to be entered in both fields.

There are two fields available here so that a location range - "From" and "To" - can be entered for the service schedule selection criteria. A location range is entered which ensures that the system searches for all service schedules items scheduled for the selected locations/branches.
The address group of the repairer for which the service schedule planner is to be output.
Enter the Repairer Address Group (e.g. 8CUBBINS) directly or select the
button immediately to the right of this field to initiate a Repairer search. A single-left-click of the
button displays an Address Group Search form that enables selection from the current available address groups. The cursor is located in the search field. Key part or all of the required repairer address group code (uppercase characters are required) and select the Shortname command button. Address Groups matching the entered criteria are displayed and, having selected the required group by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Output Vehicle Planners form.
The registration number of the vehicle for which the service schedule planner is to be output.
The registration number may be entered directly or selection of the
button immediately to the right of this field displays the Fleet Global Search form that may be used to locate the required vehicle.
There are two fields available here so that a range of dates - "From" and "To" - can be entered for the service schedule selection criteria. A date range is entered which ensures that the system searches for all service schedules items scheduled on and between the "From" and "To" dates.
By clicking-on the
button to the right of the date field a monthly diary form is displayed in order to assist in establishing the correct date criteria. Selection of the < button moves to the previous month and the > button moves to the next month. Selection of Exit exits the diary form. A double-click on the appropriate day of the month enters this date into the date field. Tab or click with the mouse to move to the "To" date field.

A series of three mutually exclusive option/radio buttons that enable the printed/exported schedule to be sorted in one of three different orders.
The list of command buttons is as follows:
Prints all the service schedule planners for the entered selection criteria.
Exports all the service schedule planners for the entered selection criteria to a suggested destination and file name.
The output is generated as usual, the changes being that the data populates a .CSV file, and adopts a new sort order.
Note: This option is not be available as a timed event option because of the need to complete the selection form.
The system exports to a default directory that has been set to C:\TEMP and a fully functional windows type file/save option is provided to allow for the user to select a destination directory and to alter the file name. The default filen name is presented as a combination of the following: 1. The word PLANNER ; 2. The date expressed as YYYYMMDD ; 3. The time, expressed as HHMMSS
An opportunity is given to amend the file name. Once accepted the output filename is stored for later use. The export directory chosen is verified on the users PC to make sure that an export is possible. If the directory is not present an error message is displayed asking for the directory to be created.
Exits the Output Vehicle Planners form and returns to the Service Schedule menu without taking any action.
