System Parameters (Funding Tab)

Enables the creation and editing of user-defined data fields against the funding agreement.

Tip: Each of the fields contained within this tab may then be accessed within the Miscellaneous Tab within the Contract Funding form.

To access the Funding Tab:

  1. Select Fleet Kompact option and the Company required from the main menu.

    The  Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select System Maintenance.

    The System Maintenance menu is displayed.

  3. Select System Parameters.

    The FK Systems Parameters form is displayed.

  4. Select the Formats Tab.

The following fields are displayed:

Funding Date Descriptions Group:

Date Field (n) Name (x 5): A series of date fields that are used in the Miscellaneous Tab within the funding agreement.

For example, within the Date Field 1 Name the user may enter Funder Follow-up Contact Date; this then becomes a field called Funder Follow-up Contact Date(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the text field number in this tab.

Funding Numeric Descriptions Group:

Numeric Field (n) Name (x 5): A series of numeric fields that are used in the Miscellaneous Tab within the funding agreement.

For example, within the Numeric Field 1 Name the user may enter Admin Fee; this then becomes a field called Admin Fee(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the text field number in this tab.

Alternate Funding Field Descriptions Group:

Vehicle Capital Description: Allows entry of a user-defined label description that will replace the Vehicle Capital label throughout the funding forms e.g. Invoice Total.

Initial Repayment Description: Allows entry of a user-defined label description that will replace the Initial Repayment label throughout the funding forms e.g. Deposit.

Note: This functionality is only available if the Variable Interest checkbox is ticked below.

Variable Interest Group:

Variable interest?: Indicates whether variable interest should be used or not.

Bank base rate:  The base interest rate that the bank that is charging through the finance house.

Finance house base rate:  The base interest rate that the finance house is charging.

Interest comparison report: The report format ID that is used to print the interest comparison report.
