System Parameters (Memo Fields Tab)

Overview

Enables the creation and editing of user-defined data fields against the agreement.

Tip: Each of the fields contained within this tab may then be accessed within the Miscellaneous Tab within the Agreement forms.

To access the Memo fields Tab:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the System Maintenance option.

    The System Maintenance menu is displayed.

  3. Select the System Parameters option.

  4. Select the Memo Fields Tab.

The following fields are displayed:

Agreement Memo Text fields (x 10): A series of memo text fields that are used in the Miscellaneous Tab within the agreement.

For example, within the Text Field 1 Name the user may enter Driver prefers Mail or Phone?; this then becomes a field called Driver prefers Mail or Phone?(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the text field number in this tab.

Agreement Memo Numeric Fields (x 10): A series of memo numeric fields that are defined by the user within System Parameters.

For example, within the Numeric Field 1 Name the user may enter Driver contrib to purchase?; this then becomes a field called Driver contrib to purchase?(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the numeric field number in this tab.

Agreement Date Fields (x 10): A series of memo date fields that are defined by the user within System Parameters.

For example, within the Date Field 1 Name the user may enter Driver request date; this then becomes a field called Driver request date(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the date field number in this tab.

Order Memo Fields (x 5): A series of order memo date fields that are defined by the user within System Parameters.

For example, within the Order Field 1 Name the user may enter Order date; this then becomes a field called Order date(1) in the Miscellaneous Tab.

Tip: The newly created field contains a number in parentheses which refers back to the order field number in this tab.
