NOTES

Overview

Accessed by way of the Contract Review form followed by selection of either Notes from the View Menu or the icon or notetick.gif from the Toolbar. This presents a small sub-menu which allows a review of notes which are entered within various specific areas of the system.

Notes Menu

The Notes Sub-Menu displays five options enabling the review of any notes created within these areas of the system. Notes may also be created and saved using the Contract Review notes forms A tick against one or more of the sub-form menu options indicates that notes are present against this option. The five notes options are as follows:

Displays the Agreement Notes form. These notes may have originally been created within the Quotations module using either the Notes option from the Tools Menu or the icon from the Toolbar. Alternatively, notes may be created and saved back using the Agreement notes form within Contract Review itself. Notes are entered and saved back by entering the appropriate free format text and selecting the OK command button.

Presents a small sub-menu with the following options:

Displays the Vehicle Notes form. This consists of many lines of free-format text for the entry of user-defined notes against the currently selected vehicle. Each line holds 100 characters of text.

These notes may have originally been created against the vehicle record within the CRM module using the Notes/No Notes command button within the Vehicle Tab. Alternatively, notes may be created and saved back using the Vehicle notes form within Contract Review itself. Notes are entered and saved back by entering the appropriate free format text and selecting the OK command button.

Displays the Scanned Documents form that enables scanned vehicle documents to be viewed.

Presents a small sub-menu with the following options:

Displays the Driver Notes form. This consists of fifteen lines of free-format text for the entry of user-defined notes against the selected agreement. Each line holds fifty characters of text. These notes may have originally been created against the customer record within the CRM module using the Notes/No Notes command button within the Customer Tab. Alternatively, notes may be created and saved back using the Driver notes form within Contract Review itself. Notes are entered and saved back by entering the appropriate free format text and selecting the OK command button.

Displays the Scanned Documents form that enables scanned driver documents to be viewed.

Displays the Customer Notes form. These notes may have originally been created against the company record within the CRM module using the Notes/No Notes command button within the Company Tab. Alternatively, notes may be created and saved back using the Customer notes form within Contract Review itself. Notes are entered and saved back by entering the appropriate free format text and selecting the OK command button.

Displays the Sales Ledger Account Notes form. These notes may have originally been created against the Account record within the Sales Ledger module using the Text Tab within the Display Accounts menu option. Alternatively, notes may be created and saved back using the Account notes form within Contract Review itself. Notes are entered and saved back (to both the Contract Review and Sales Ledger notes areas) by entering the appropriate free format text and selecting the OK command button.
