Accessed via Contract Review and selection of the Rentals Tab.
Selection of the Rentals Tab displays a detailed breakdown of the rental payments profile and the rental elements that make up the total initial and period rental charges.
This data is primarily from the FM.agree and FM.profi files summarised for simplicity.
The Rental Tab Dialogue Box contains the following fields:
A code denoting the posting schedule attached to the rental profile on the Lease Definition e.g. A.
The number of advanced rentals required within the agreement. This value is derived from the Schedule Definition (selected against the Income Schedule field within the Income Tab of the Lease Definition.
The number of regular rentals required within the agreement. This value is derived from the Schedule Definition (selected against the Income Schedule field within the Income Tab of the Lease Definition.
The month in which the regular rentals are to commence within the agreement. This value is derived from the Schedule Definition (selected against the Income Schedule field within the Income Tab of the Lease Definition.
The frequency of periodic rental payments. This value is determined from within the Quotation.
An accumulator field relating to the rental lines in the Profi Tab.
The number of months hire currently invoiced e.g. 12 (including initial rentals) by the Periodic Invoicing routine. This field is also on the Agreement Tab.
The date on which the selected contract was last invoiced. This field is also on the Agreement Tab.
An accumulator field relating to the rental lines in the Profi Tab.
The monthly period in which the selected contract was last invoiced e.g. 10. This field is also on the Agreement Tab.
The difference between this field and Periods Invoiced is accounted for by the number of initial rentals.
The date on which invoices for the selected contract were last posted to the Nominal Ledger. This field is also on the Agreement Tab.
The period of hire e.g. 36 (months) for the selected contract. This values comes from the original quotation. (The same value is shown at the top of the form).
The agreement start date. (The same value is shown at the top of the form).
The expected agreement end date. (The same value is shown at the top of the form).
If the vehicle agreement is extended, for example, by a month, this field holds the original end date, whilst the End Date holds the new proposed extended end date.
If the vehicle agreement is extended, for example, by a month, this field holds the original number of periods for the contract, whilst the Period of Lease holds the new proposed extended number of periods.
Rental DetailsThere is an option to Suppress Revenue located in the Tools Menu of Contract Review. If this option is initiated then this field displays the date on which the revenue was suspended.
Displays a rental element split summary (the four splits from within the Product Details form) :
The VAT Assumption description used by the system when splitting out this part of the rental for invoicing. For example, if the First rental split denotes the finance rental then the VAT assumption code may well be F and the VAT Assumption Description be Finance.

For example, if the First rental split denotes the finance rental then the VAT assumption code may well be F; in turn, this code is associated with the normal VAT code of S(Standard Rate), within the Nominal Ledger, which is applied to the rental line.
The initial rental value (for this part of the rental split) which is used for invoicing.
The regular periodic rental value (for this part of the rental split) which is used for invoicing.
The total for the initial rental value (for this part of the rental split) which is used for invoicing.
The total for the regular periodic rental value (for this part of the rental split) which is used for invoicing.
