The Record Maintenance form is accessed via Fleet System Management / Kerridge Utilities / Record Maintenance. This option should not be used by anyone except ADP personnel. It enables a record to be edited directly, without verification. Records can be damaged via this option if edited incorrectly.
The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar , the Record Maintenance Grid and the column of Command Buttons at the bottom of the form.
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The Record Maintenance Grid displays all of the files within the current module. It contains several columns of information which are as follows:
The filename for example, agree .
The name of the file for example, Master Records .
Displays the number of records within the file.
Displays the maximum number of records that may be held in the file.
The list displays up to a maximum of twenty four records at any one time. To view the remaining records the Scroll Bar to the right of the form can be operated in a number of ways:
To directly edit a record a double-left-click of the mouse on the required filename row opens up the Record Maintenance Sub-form for direct maintenance of records within the file.
A number of command buttons are available. Some buttons are context sensitive and are dimmed and only become available dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full list of command buttons is as follows:
Exits the Record Maintenance form and returns to the Kerridge Utilities Menu .
Exits the Record Maintenance form and returns to the Kerridge Utilities Menu .
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
