This process details how to create a new customer record "on-the-fly" whilst already having started a fleet quotation.
Create a Customer record "on-the-fly"
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Quotations option and Company required.
The Quotations Main Menu is displayed.
Select the Quotations option.
The Quotation formis displayed but currently disabled.
Select the icon.
The Quotation form is now enabled.
The Sales executive field defaults to the user currently logged in to the
quotation; however, the
can be used to alter the sales executive.
Use the button
immediately to the right of the Customer field to carry out a search for
the required Company and Customer for the quotation. This presents the
Marketing Customer Search form enabling the search to be
carried out in a number of ways.
Enter some, or all, of the customer name (and/or address) details in the Word Search box and select the Search command button.
A list of records meeting the entered search criteria is displayed.
If the required customer record is not displayed select the Create command button.
This presents the Customer Review form.
The postcode search is automatically displayed. Enter the postcode for the customer. Select the required address and then the OK command button.
The Customer Review form is now populated with the company name and address.
Now enter the target/customer details and select the
icon. The company and customer
details are now returned to the primary Quotation form ready to
complete the Quotation process.
