The Override Management set-up form is accessed via Miscellaneous Options / Override Management and is used to create, edit and delete override records for customer discounts and bonuses. These values override at customer level any global discounts and bonuses either imported from a particular data source or manually created.
Once the Override code tables have been set up, the required Override code must be allocated against the appropriate customer record in the Fleet Details Quotations Tab in CRM. The override code should be placed in either the First VRB Override, Second VRB Override, First Option Override, or Second Option Override field depending on the override type (i.e. VRB or Option override) and the level of override (i.e. Is it the first level override or is it a second level override that actually overrides the first).
Note: A second level overrides the first level for exception purposes for example, All NHS Hospitals may receive Metallic paint free as a first level override so the metallic paint Override code should be placed in the First Option Override field. However, a second level override may be set up for a specific hospital that does not receive free metallic paint; therefore a second metallic paint Override code should be placed in the Second Option Override field. This just acts as an exception to the first layer of override and is, in effect, an override of an override.
