If accessed by double-clicking an option from the Summary Tab within Options Review this form is used to view and edit the various elements which make up a particular option.
If accessed via the icon or Add Option (from
the Summary Tab within Options Review), then this form is used to add
a new option to a vehicle variant.
The form is split into four parts that are as follows:

Following selection, two alternatives are presented:
- Cancel
Returns to the Options Review Summary Tabwithout saving data amendments.
- Exit
Exits to the Options Review Summary Tab while saving any amendments made to an option.
Provides online access to context sensitive Help form.

The Delete option is only available for options that are created by the user. The system automatically generates an Option Status (see below) of "On-Spec" for such options. When the delete icon is used the system prompts:
Delete On-Spec Option?
The appropriate command button - "Yes" or "No" is selected as appropriate.
Provides online context sensitive help information to the user
The following fields are contained within the option details form. In the case of an existing option various fields may need to be edited; if an option is created it is necessary for these fields to be set-up:
In the case of an existing option, imported from a preferred data supplier, this code already exists and should not be amended. On creation of an option, the system generates a code automatically.
In the case of an existing option, imported from a preferred data supplier, a default description already exists and should only be amended with caution. On creation of an option, the cursor is located within this field awaiting input of a manual description.
An indicator as to whether a particular option has been simply "Selected" or created (given a status of "On-Spec").
Displays a single digit code indicating the status of a particular option for example, Factory Fit, Dealer Fit, Standard, etc.
A tick denotes that this is a cash option i.e. this option was flagged as a cash item when selected within the quotation. It is therefore not included within the quotation calculation but may be seen on the quotation so that it is ordered and, when purchased, the system prompts for this item to be recharged to the customer.
Displays the manufacturer's list price (basic cost plus VAT). In the case of an existing option, imported from a preferred data supplier, the list price already exists and should not be amended. On creation of an option, the list price is input manually. This field can be edited.
The supplier discount value for an option. This field is displayed for Factory Fitted Options only. No value is held for Dealer Fitted Accessories. The default value is calculated using the option List Price and the discount percentage held against the quoted vehicle variant (located in the "current" Cost field in the Prices Tab of the Model Variant Details menu option within Franchise Data) but can be edited within this form.
The supplier discount percentage for an option. This field is displayed for Factory Fitted Options only. No value is held for Dealer Fitted Accessories. The default value is taken from the discount percentage held against the quoted vehicle variant (located in the "current" Cost field in the Prices Tab of the Model Variant Details menu option within Franchise Data) but can be edited within this form.
Displays the calculated VAT. value for a given option.
On selection of the ellipsis (...) box directly to the right of the VAT code field a Vat Codes List Box is displayed. This form is used to locate and select the appropriate VAT code for an option. The current selection choices are as follows:
- C Vehicle Outputs
- E Exempt
- H Higher Rate
- I Internal
- O Outside the Scope
- S Standard Rate
- V VAT Adjustment POS
- W VAT on Warranty
- Z Zero Rated
- c Used Comm.Veh.Input
- p Used Pass.Car Input
- s User Pass.Car Output
- u Used Comm.Veh.Output
A single-mouse-click selects and highlights the appropriate code and the choice is confirmed by selecting the OK command button. Selection of the Cancel button exits without saving a selection.
The "On The Road" value for a given option.
The residual value net of VAT.
The P11D value for a given option.
Displays the maintenance budget for an individual option.
The "period" rental for each option (The period being defined by selection of the appropriate Frequency defined within the primary Quotations form for example, monthly, annual, etc).
