Displays the Print Selection Dialogue Box. This form enables a document type to be selected for output and then the appropriate output type to be selected.

Select the icon
from the toolbar.
The Print Selection form is displayed.
From the Document Group Box select Quotation.
The Print option button is selected by default (and the currently selected printer is displayed in parentheses) so simply select the Print command button.
Either Create or Open a standard quotation for which the makeup sheet is to be printed.

From the Document Group Box select Quotation.
Select the Fax option button.
An additional Fax Tab is displayed at the bottom of the form. The fax number (populated from the CRM record) is displayed in the Destination field; this can be edited if required.
Select the Fax command button.
Note: KFax needs to be set-up as a print spooler and the faxing function relies heavily upon triggers within the KPrint form. Also, a modem is required to be present on the server.

From the Document Group Box select Quotation.
Select the Email option button.
An additional Email Tab is displayed at the bottom of the form. The email address (populated from the CRM record) is displayed in the To field; this can be edited if required. The Subject field is also automatically populated with the quotation number as a reference.
Select the Send command button.
Note: A modem is required to be present on the server.
The following fields are displayed:
Destination:
Print: One in a series of mutually exclusive option buttons enabling a quotation or makeup sheet to be printed. The currently selected printer is displayed in parentheses.
Fax: One in a series of mutually exclusive option buttons enabling a quotation or makeup sheet to be faxed. Once selected, an additional Fax Tab is displayed at the bottom of the form.
Email: One in a series of mutually exclusive option buttons enabling a quotation or makeup sheet to be emailed. Once selected, an additional Email Tab is displayed at the bottom of the form.
Document:
Enables the required document to be selected. The following are currently valid document types that may be output.
Quotation
Makeup Sheet
Fax Tab:
Destination: The fax number (populated from the CRM record) to which the faxed document is to be sent; this can be edited if required.
CC: Allows an additional fax number to be entered so that the faxed document can be sent to an additional destination.
To: Automatically populated with the customer name selected within the quotation.
Message: A free format text message for entering the body of a message to be sent alongside the actual faxed document.
Email Tab:
To: The email address (populated from the CRM record) to which the emailed document is to be sent; this can be edited if required.
CC: Allows an additional email address to be entered so that the emailed document can be sent to an additional destination.
BCC: Allows an additional blind email address to be entered so that the emailed document can be sent to an additional destination without the original recipient being aware.
Subject: Allows the subject of the email to be entered. This is automatically populated with the quotation number.
Message: A free format text message for entering the body of a message to be sent alongside the actual emailed document.
From: Enables the name of the document sender to be entered.
Reply To: Enables the email address of the document sender to be entered.
Notify: Enables the name of the person (e.g. Sales Executive) to be notified of any outcome arising from the quotation to be entered.
COMMAND BUTTONS:
Print/Fax/Send: Prints, faxes or emails the required selection to the chosen destination and returns to the primary Quotations form. Only saved quotations may be printed.
Cancel: Returns to the primary Quotations form without actioning a print, fax or email command.
Help: Displays online context-sensitive help using the default browser.
