Selection of Tyre Value Copy (accessed via the Miscellaneous Options / Tyre Value Management Menu) presents the Tyre Value Copy form. This form is utilised to copy the tyre value tables from the "live" area of the system (from which quotations and ratesbooks values are accessed) to the "data processing" (DP) area where the values are manipulated. Once the values have been satisfactorily adjusted the reverse procedure is then carried out. This may be done by searching at Manufacturer, Model and Variant level.

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The contents of the Tyre Value Copy menu bar is as follows:
- Exit
Exits the current form and returns to the Tyre Value Options menu.

The Tyre value copy area consists of the following data selection options:
The Kestrel system is able to hold Tyre values from a multiplicity of data sources. This field is used to select the required data source values to be copied. Selection of the down arrow presents a drop-down list of data sources currently available to the system e.g. D David Henley Systems.
These are two mutually exclusive option buttons which force a definite selection as to the movement direction for the Tyre value tables.
From DP to Live
Copies the data from the "data processing" area of the system (where it may be manipulated by way of the Tyre Manipulation or Tyre Value Group Management routines) to the "live" area of the system from which quotations and ratesbooks values are accessed.
From Live to DP
Before the raw data can be manipulated (see above) it must first be copied from the "live" area of the system to the "data processing" (DP) area.
The Select Vehicles icon displays the Select Vehicles List Box which enables the selection/deletion of vehicles (at franchise, model and variant level) for the purposes of copying the appropriate Tyre value tables for manipulation and subsequent uploading to the "live" area of the system. The List Box presents a "vehicle selection display" area and the following command buttons:
- Vehicle Selection Display Area
Displays the currently selected franchises, models or variants about to be copied.
- OK
Confirms the selected vehicles and returns to the main Tyre Value Copy form so that the copy may be executed.
- Cancel
Returns to the main Tyre Value Copy form.
- Add
Displays the Vehicle Selection form so that the required vehicles may be selected and returned to the Vehicle Selection Display Area.
- All
Selects all franchises, models and variants for copying.
- Clear
Clears the current vehicle selection list. The following prompt is displayed:
Delete current vehicle list. Continue?
The Yesor No command button is selected as required.
- Help
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
Following selection of the required vehicles the Execute command button copies the corresponding Tyre tables in the selected direction. This button is only enabled following selection of the required Copy Direction. A series of blue boxes display the progress of the current copy. Upon completion a Tyre Copy Statistics box displays how many Tyre table records were selected, updated, created and failed.
