Accessed by way of the Terminations / Termination Washouts menu options followed by selection of Washout - Individual.
This option posts the washout to the termination invoices through to the pending file for onward transmission to the Nominal Ledger. It also releases the contract for final washout options to be made and enables the release of all the budget postings in the Nominal.
Note: The system does NOT washout any contract that does not balance. A message is displayed to this effect; to correct this an option on Contract Administration must be run called the Pre-Washout procedure.

The content of the Washout Individually menu bar is dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full menu bar contents, however, are as follows:

As with the menu bar, the content of the Washout Style toolbar is dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full toolbar contents, however, are as follows:

The Washout Individually Dialogue Box contains a number of fields and a Washout Contract command button.
The registration number of the selected vehicle record.
The registration may be entered directly or by clicking-on the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field a Fleet Global Search form is displayed that enables selection from the current available vehicle records. The cursor is located in the search field. Key part or all of the required registration and select the Search command button. Vehicles matching the entered criteria are displayed and, having selected the required vehicle registration by highlighting with the mouse, the OK command button is used to confirm this selection and return to the Washout Individually screen.
The master agreement number (produced at the Convert Quote stage of the contract e.g. 100045 ) for the termination record to be washed out. The ellipsis button (...) immediately to the right of the Master Record field is used to initiate the Fleet Global Search . This screen is utilised to locate, select and open a particular vehicle record by way of a number of alternative selection criteria methods.
The status of the contract e.g. Washed Out.
Following selection of the required vehicle the system displays the Select Quote form. This displays a list of terminated contracts relating to the vehicle concerned. Only the Select and Cancel command buttons are enabled. If this is the incorrect terminated contract then Cancel should be selected. If it is the correct terminated contract then the Select command button should be taken. The Washout Contract command button is now enabled.
The following command button is available:
Makes the appropriate postings to the pending file for validation and onward transmission to the Accounts system.
Warning: If the contract does not balance or is not available for Washout then the appropriate message is displayed e.g. Make-up not fully posted - w/out illegal.
