TYRE TREAD DEPTH

Overview

This form is accessed via Maintenance Control and selection of Tyre Details from the Menu Bar or, alternatively, selection of the (Tyre Tread Details) icon from the Toolbar.

The form is for memo purposes only. It enables the most recent data to be held for the tyre tread on front, back and spare tyres.

Note: This form is only enabled if the Store Tyre Details checkbox is ticked in the General Tab within System Parameters.

The form is split into three areas. These are the Titlebar, the Tyre Tread Depth Dialogue Box and a series of Command Buttons to the right of the form.

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.

Tyre Tread Depth Dialogue Box

Displays the following data fields:

A series of two fields. The first field enables a five digit description of the appropriate tyre to be recorded and displayed e.g. FOff (for front offside).

A series of two fields. The first field enables a five digit description of the appropriate tyre to be recorded and displayed e.g. FDrv (for front driver's side).

A series of two fields. The first field enables a five digit description of the appropriate tyre to be recorded and displayed e.g. BOff (for back offside).

A series of two fields. The first field enables a five digit description of the appropriate tyre to be recorded and displayed e.g. BDrv (for back driver's side).

A series of two fields. The first field enables a five digit description of the appropriate tyre to be recorded and displayed e.g. Spare (for spare tyre).

Command Buttons

A number of command buttons are available:

Confirms and saves the entered data.

Cancels the function and returns to the Maintenance Control form.

Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
