The driver details form is used to maintain details about a customer if they are hiring vehicle through a daily rentals department and or taking a vehicle on a demonstration. It means that you can maintain the information required in order to book out and supply the vehicles to the customer with out having to request the details each time the person wishes to hire a vehicle. As with other initial records information can be entered into the default record if that information is standard to the majority of the driver details you will be saving.
This form is displayed when you select the Department Initial template option from the CRM default records menu.
You can return through any fields which should not be defaulted and enter the default data where appropriate, but any information entered will not be validated.
