Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. Click the Help button on the relevant forms or menus to see any existing help file specific to your Autoline configuration for that form or menu. Alternatively, a help file may exist in the Table of Contents specific to your manufacturer.
The daemon monitor displays the daemons related to all programs currently installed on the Autoline system for the specified franchise. It lets you do the following: view all the franchise daemons in one place; start, or stop, all daemons; view daemon parameters and logs via a daemon record viewer, and view similar daemon log files in a text file viewer.
There is one log file for each day. The following week, a new log file is created. This overwrites all the entries of the previous week.
Tip: You can print the logs.
To activate a daemon:

To terminate a daemon immediately:
Warning: This procedure stops the daemon dead. It should only be used as a last resort. Data can be lost or corrupted in any process that is running when you terminate. You are advised to contact Autoline Software Support before you carry out this procedure.
Click the skull-and-crossbones toolbar button.
The following message is displayed:
You are about to kill off the selected daemon.

Killing the daemon in this way should only be used as a last resort.
Are you sure you want to kill the daemon?
Click Kill only if you are absolutely certain you want to terminate the daemon immediately.
The daemon is immediately terminated.
