You can choose the franchise or franchises that you would like to be updated on the stock file. Only the parts belonging to the franchise or franchises selected are updated.
To select franchises:
From the ADP STANDARD OPERATIONS menu select the Parts price file menu option.
The MASTER PARTS PRICE FILE MENU is displayed.
Select the Update stock from price file option.
If there is more than one franchise listed in the Generic price file imports table (00.MS.gpfis) the Stock File Update - Select Franchises form is displayed.
Select at least one franchise by ticking its Selected column (or click Select all to select all franchises) then click OK.
The Stock File Update From Price File form is displayed.
Franchise list:
Franchise: Unique franchise code.
Franchise name: Identifies a franchise.
Selected: A tick in this column indicates that the corresponding franchise is to be updated on the stock file. Click the column to select the franchise or to deselect it if it is already selected.
Buttons:
OK: Displays the Stock File Update From Price File form, with your chosen franchises selected for updating on the stock file.
Cancel: Cancels the update and returns you to the MASTER PARTS PRICE FILE MENU.
Help: Displays this help topic in a browser.
Select all: Selects all franchises for inclusion in the update.
