Introduction

The Menu Pricing software has been developed to run as an integral part of the Point-of-Sale (POS)/Menu Pricing system. It allows the creation of estimates, job cards and invoices using menu pricing data, and provides a quick and easy way of loading regularly performed jobs onto a Work-in-Progress (WIP) record. The menu prices are calculated at the point of selection in POS based upon the current retail price.

Note: Wherever the retail price is specified in this help system, it is defined as the current retail price of parts and labour, plus VAT. The labour value is based on the labour rate multiplied by the time allowed.

Menu Pricing Maintenance Menu

The Menu pricing maintenance menu is displayed when you select the Menu pricing menu option from the OPERATIONS menu. From this menu you can set up and maintain menu pricing on the Autoline system.

  1. Menu Pricing setup: Allows you to set up and maintain your menu pricing software, and upload and convert data on the Autoline system.

Note: Before you can use the Menu Pricing interface in POS, you must ensure that the menu pricing software is set up according to the specific needs of the dealership, and data is uploaded and converted ready for use in POS.

  2. Menu Pricing maintenance: Allows you to display, create and maintain menus.
