The Menu pricing maintenance option allows you to carry out the following tasks for the selected Point-of-Sale (POS) company:
Note: You must be a priority 8 user to perform these tasks.
Print a menu, a range of menus or all menus.
Make additional items available to a menu
The Menu Pricing Maintenance Form is displayed when you select the Menu pricing maintenance option from the Menu pricing maintenance menu, and the Point-of-Sale (SO) company if applicable. From this form you can create and maintain menus.
Note: Some options are only enabled if your manufacturer allows you to create and maintain menus.
Menu Icon Description File > Open Allows you to search for/display a menu File > Close Closes the current menu. Menucode: The full menu code.
Service model group: The service model group.
From the Header tab you can view and maintain the menu header details.
Description: A description of the menu for look-up in POS.
Allowed time: The time allowed to complete the work.
Analysis code: A single-letter identifier for reporting purposes. This is used as a way of analysing menu sales. Any analysis code entered here overrides the analysis code entered on the Miscellaneous tab of the parameters.
WL group: The Workshop Loading group code.
VAT inclusive: Are fixed price menus VAT inclusive? Any value entered here overrides the value entered in the VAT inclusive field on the Miscellaneous tab of the parameters.
VAT code: Which Nominal Ledger VAT code is to be applied to the menu? Any VAT code entered here overrides the VAT code entered on the Miscellaneous tab of the parameters.

From the Labour tab, you can view and maintain labour items associated with the menu.
Note: It is possible to make additional Items available to a menu.
RTS code: The Repair Time Schedule code.
Description: A description of the operation.
Allowed: The time allowed to complete the operation.
Type: The labour type:
- RTS code
- Menu
Franchise: The two-character franchise code that identifies the file on which the RTS code is held.

Create: Allows you to add a labour line to the menu.
Amend: Allows you to amend the selected record.
Delete: Allows you to delete the selected record.

From the Parts tab, you can view and maintain parts associated with the menu.
Note: It is possible to make additional Items available to a menu.
Part number: The manufacturer's part number or fluid code.
Description: A description of the part.
Quantity: The number of units required for the menu involved.
Type: The part type:

- Fluid

Create: Allows you to add a part to the menu.
Amend: Allows you to amend the selected record.
Delete: Allows you to delete the selected record.

From the Linked jobs tab, you can view and maintain linked jobs associated with the menu.
Linked to: The RTS or menu code to which the menu is linked.
Type: The labour type:
- R: RTS code
- M: Menu
PUSH BUTTONS:
Create: Allows you to add a linked job to the menu.
Amend: Allows you to amend the selected record.
Delete: Allows you to delete the selected record.

From the Prices tab, you can view and maintain fixed prices associated with the menu.
Description: A description of the price.
Price: The total fixed price including VAT. The fixed prices that you see here are the standard retail prices, which are not necessarily the same as the prices displayed in POS because other factors come into play in POS, such as parts/labour discounts for the selected account and special stock promotions. Also, the figure shown does not contain the price of additional items or the price of fluids mapped in Fluid Mapping. To this end, the prices are only really a guide and should not be quoted to customers.
Active: Is the price active?
PUSH BUTTONS:
Create: Allows you to create a fixed price, menu discount or an itemised discount.
Amend: Allows you to amend a dealer fixed price or discount.
Delete: Allows you to delete a dealer fixed price or discount.
View: Allows you to view a dealer fixed price or discount.

From the Notes tab, you can view and maintain comments that are displayed to users when they load a menu in Point-of-Sale.
All models: Indicates if the notes are displayed against all vehicle models.
