Creating a Menu

A facility is available that allows you to create dealer menus on the Autoline system.

Note: This facility is only enabled if your manufacturer allows you to create and maintain menus.

To create a menu:

  1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Menu pricing menu option.

    The Menu pricing maintenance menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Menu pricing maintenance option.

    If there is more than one Point-of-Sale (SO) company, the system prompts you for the SO company.

  3. Select the SO company.

    The Menu Pricing Maintenance form is displayed.

  4. Click the Create new menu button.

    Tip: Alternatively, select the New option from the File menu.

    The Create new menu form is displayed.

  5. Enter the Product ID, Group, Sub group and Sequence.

    As you complete each field, the system automatically builds a new menu code.

  6. Enter the Model group to which the menu applies.

    Tip: If you want the menu to apply to all model groups, tick the All models check box.

  7. Click OK.

    You are returned to the Menu Pricing Maintenance form.

  8. Complete the details on the following tabs:

  9. Click the Save button.

    The system saves the changes to the menu.

Create New Menu Form

The Create new menu form is displayed when you click the Create new menu button on the Menu Pricing Maintenance form. Within this form, you can generate a new menu code.

Menucode: Enter the new menu code.

All models: Does the menu apply to all service model groups? This field is selected by default. If the answer is no, deselect the field and enter a service model group in the next field.

Service model group: The service model group to which the menu applies.

PUSH BUTTONS

OK: Continues with the next stage of the creation routine.

Cancel: Returns you to the Menu Pricing Maintenance form.
