Some menus have associated tasks (linked jobs) applied to them. Before the system displays the menu for negotiation, it checks to see if there are any linked jobs and displays them in the Job Selection form. At this point, you should identify which linked jobs you will carry out and toggle each job on. If required, you can change your selection of linked jobs at the negotiation stage.
To select/deselect linked jobs:
Click the Linked jobs button on the Service Menu Pricing Negotiation Form.
Note: The Linked jobs button is only enabled if linked jobs exist against the menu.
The Job Selection form is displayed.
Select/deselect the linked jobs that you want to carry out.
Click OK.
Note: On the Negotiation tab of the parameters, you can tell the system to automatically toggle on all linked jobs within POS (Toggle linked jobs on as default).
If there are any jobs linked to the menu, the Job Selection Form is displayed automatically when you load a menu in Point-of-Sale or when you click the Linked jobs button on the Service Menu Pricing Negotiation form. Within this form, you can identify any linked jobs that you want to carry out.
Load: Click this column to display a tick symbol against any linked jobs that you want to carry out.
Menu: The RTS or Menu code for the linked job.
Description: A description of the RTS code or menu.
Price: The selling price of the linked job.
