On first entry to the Order Workbench interface the software creates the required database tables. OWB parameters must be set up for this application.
To display or modify GM Order Workbench parameters:
On the Vehicle Administration form select Franchise > Vehicle Interface Selection on the menu bar.
The General Motors login form is displayed.
Enter your user name and password and click LOG IN.
If the user id is associated with more than one role within Channel 21TM, when you have logged in the tab displays a form enabling you to make a role selection.
The Autoline Order Workbench Interface form is displayed.
Select Tools > Parameters on the form's menu bar.
The GM OWB Parameters form is displayed. Complete the parameters as per the dealer requirements.
VS Company: Vehicle Stockbooks company number.
GM Dealer ID: Identifies the GM dealer.
C21 URL: Channel 21TM login URL.
Country: Two-character country code.
CRM access: When ticked, the system always gets customer information from CRM.
Use OWB Lite: Selected if OWB Lite is to be used.
Note: OWB Lite may not be in use in a particular market and may not be applicable.
Brand: Franchise name (Opel/Vauxhall).
GVC URL: URL for GME Vehicle Configurator.
Language Code: Two-character local language code, for example gb, de, se, it.
GVC WSDL URL: GM Vehicle Configurator URL.
Proxy in use: Is access to Internet via a proxy server?
Proxy address: Name of the proxy server.
Proxy Username: Username required if the internet connection on the client PC uses a proxy that requires authentication.
Proxy Password: Password required if the internet connection on the client PC uses a proxy that requires authentication.
Price protection: Selected if a company does not want to update any prices or specification on vehicles after the initial creation.
Direct Deal model code: For dealers that operate Direct Deal (where there is an alternative Direct Deal model code in franchise data), the model code for these vehicles must be entered.
Embedded UI: When ticked, uses the embedded browser.
User interface suffix: Not used.
Method call suffix: Not used.
Cookie parameter: Not used.
