When a menu is selected, the system checks to see if any parts contain a surcharge value. If they do, the Surcharge Credit form is displayed, asking if the old part is being returned. If you answer Yes, the system will create an additional line for the credit of the surcharge amount when you load the menu onto the WIP.
The Surcharge Credit form is displayed after a menu is selected, for each part that contains a surcharge value. Within this form, you must identify whether the old part is being returned.
Part number: The Renault part number.
Description: A description of the part.
Quantity: The number of units required for the menu involved.
Surcharge: The amount that will be paid to the customer when they return the dirty unit.
Price without surcharge: The selling price of the part, excluding the surcharge.
Price with surcharge: The selling price of the part, including the surcharge.
