Select A Statement

Note: Only the statements permissible for the defined locations are available, when the Activate location based agreements parameter is selected on the General tab of the Data protection parameters.

During processing of a campaign, for every customer the existing Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) are checked. The selected statement is compared to the customer agreements. The corresponding communication channels are checked, in case a Data protection agreement is found. At first the campaign type of the current campaign is compared with the campaign types of the channels and if there is compliance subsequently the status of the channel is applied.

The Link to campaign type parameter on the Channel details is used to identify the communication channel which contains the consent or denial to a campaign.

Depending on the customers decision on the channel concerned he or she is included in the campaign on the:

Note: Please be aware of the consequences when the Include cases without an agreement? parameter is selected on the General tab of the Data protection parameters. This substantially affect the number of customers which are included in a campaign, as it is possible that the customers without a valid data protection agreement are now listed on the Customers tab to contact.

Select A Statement Form

This form is displayed when you click CRM > Reports & Enquiries > Campaigns to display the CRM Campaign form and you click the File > New or File > Open menu bar command to create or open a campaign and click the Based on ellipsis on the Main tab. It lets you select a data protection statement for the concerning campaign.

Select A Statement:

Grid:

Manufacturer: Displays the manufacturer for which this statement is valid.

Country: Displays the country for which the statement is valid.

Version: Displays the version of the statement.

Statement description: Displays the description of the statement.

From: Displays on which date the statement becomes valid.

To: Displays up to which date the statement is valid.

Note: A statement is valid until it has a Valid to date which is less then today. The statement is valid forever when the Valid to is blank.

Use: Defaulted to P - personal (customer). Applicable if, the Activate agreements on companies parameter is selected on the General tab of the Data protection parameters.

Select?: Select or clear the statement required for checking the permission of the current campaign.
