Update Selling Prices Report

This report enables you to update the retail price of all parts in the stock file or parts supplied by a particular supplier. The output is a print format. The price can be increased by a particular price or a particular percentage.

For each part updated the following details are summarised on the report:

• Part Number

• Description

• Old Price

• New Price

• Variance

To update selling prices:

Note: Ensure that a suitable printer is selected and is on-line.

1. From the Rev 8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.

   The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.

2. Select the Reports and enquiries option.

   The SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.

3. Select the Report generator option.

   The REPORT GENERATOR menu is displayed.

4. Select the Run report generator option.

   The Report selection form is displayed.

5. Select the required Output type, select K03 Update Selling Prices from the Report Definition drop-down, and click OK.

   Tip: If you leave the Output type set to All, the system uses the default setting of Print.

   The Update Selling Prices (SM) form is displayed.

6. Complete the form and click OK.

   A report status is displayed (if the report is printed) and the report is output in the selected format.

7. Click the Close button.

   You are returned to the REPORT GENERATOR menu.

Update Selling Prices (SM) Form

This form is displayed when you select the K03 Update Selling Prices option on the Report selection form and click OK.

Output type: Select an output type for the report from one of the following:

• Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer

• Display: Displays the report

• HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Mark up Language (HTML) format, to be viewed via the default browser

Note: The default setting for Output type is Print.

Update which selling price: Retail 1, 2 or 3, according to which price is to be updated

Choose supplier (blank=all): Supplier for which you want to update prices, or blank for all

Select Fixed or Percentage: F to update the prices by a fixed price or P to increase them by a percentage

Enter fixed or %age adjustment: Price or the percentage by which to adjust selected prices

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Outputs the report in the selected format

Cancel: Returns you to the Report selection form

Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group
