This report is a printable report that re-generates the maximum and minimum levels of stock of selected parts in the stock file. The report can be run as a report only or as an update report. You are also asked if you want to zero the monthly demand and save the newly generated monthly demand. This option should only be done at the end of the month. Typically this report runs monthly in the timed operations chain.

To generate max/min levels:
Note: Ensure that a suitable printer is selected and is on-line. This could be a large report.
From the Rev 8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.
The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.
Select the Reports and enquiries option.
The SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Report generator option.
The REPORT GENERATOR menu is displayed.
Select the Run report generator option.
The Report selection form is displayed.
Select the required Output type, select K05 Generate Max/Min Levels Std from the Report Definition drop-down, and click OK.
Tip: If you leave the Output type set to All, the system uses the default setting of Print.
The Generate Max/Min Levels Std (SM) form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
The report is compiled and output to the printer, and you are returned to the REPORT GENERATOR menu.
This form is displayed when you select the K05 Generate Max/Min Levels Std option on the Report selection form and click OK.
Output type: Select an output type for the report from one of the following:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
Display: Displays the report
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Mark up Language (HTML) format, to be viewed via the default browser
Note: The default setting for Output type is Print.
Update or report-only U/R: U to update the new Max Min levels or R to report on what they would be if you did run the update option
Save new avg. zero demand Y/N: Y to zero the current monthly demand and save the new average monthly demand, otherwise N. This option should not be taken part-way through a month.
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the Report selection form
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group
