This report lists, in part number order, the bin location of parts within the stock location for the selected company. You can produce this report for a single part number or a range of part numbers. When you run the report, you are asked for the first and last part number in the range.
By default the report is displayed. However, when the report is run, you are also given the option to output to an HTML directory or print it.
Note: This report should be run on a regular basis, such as at the end of the month and after a price update.
For each part, the following details are summarised on the report:
Part number
A description of the part
Quantity
Bin location
Retail price
Surcharge value
VAT code
Discount code
Re-order category
Whether or not non-stock
Date last purchased
To produce a bin location list:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.
The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.
Select the Reports and enquiries option.
The SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Bin location list option.
The Bin Location List (SM) form is displayed.
Enter a starting and ending part number.
Tip: Leave these fields empty to include all part numbers on the report.
Click OK.
The report is compiled and output in the selected format.
This form is displayed when you select the Bin location list option from the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce a bin location list.
Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) format
Display: Displays the report (default)
Enter starting part number: First part number in the range
Enter ending part number: Last part number in the range
Tip: Leave these fields empty to report on all part numbers.
Location: Stock locations that you want to include in the report (default 1)
Include Imprest?: Select to specify that imprest stock should be included in the report
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
