When the Re-allocate pages program is run, the system carries out a page segmentation on the stock-check file as described in the SC system parameters.
Note: This program has no effect unless one of the two parameters Character page-break or Maximum lines/page is changed after you have generated a check list, and prior to running the Re-allocate pages program again.
You need to run it only if the original page segmentation used requires changing. If the program is run immediately after the system parameters have been changed, the new system parameters must be re-loaded. You can do this by returning to the Master Menu and re-accessing the Stock Check module.
To re-allocate pages:
From the Master Menu, select the Stock checking option and the Company you require.
You are prompted for the stock location.
Select the Stock Location.
The STOCK CHECKING menu is displayed.
Select the Re-allocate pages option.
The Re-allocate pages form is displayed.
Complete the fields in the Rough Sheets group box and click the Re-allocate button.
The Re-allocate Pages form is displayed when the Re-allocate pages option is selected from the STOCK CHECKING menu.
This is the only group box that is enabled on the form.
Create rough sheets: Select this check box if you have been advised on the purpose and use of rough sheets, and want to use this facility.
How many: This field is enabled when the Create rough sheets box is selected. Enter the number of sheets you estimate you will require. The rough sheets are numbered consecutively following on from the last page of the main check list.

Exit: Returns you to the STOCK CHECKING menu
Help: Displays help on your current application in your default company browser
Re-allocate: Re-allocates the pages as per the changes you have made to the system parameters
