Display Accounts
These buttons belong to the form itself, as distinct from buttons on the form's tabs.
By clicking on this button will allow the user to link directly into the CRM system to perform one of the functions listed on the subsequent Select Item From List dialog box.
From List dialog box you can select one of following four options:
CRM
Today's-Contacts
Customer or Company
Note: Depending on the type of CRM record to which the selected Sales Ledger account is linked. If the account is not linked to a CRM company or customer record this option will not appear.
Create-contact
CRM
CRM lets you access the CRM record Maintenance menu and access Company, Customer or Vehicle records to either Create or amend.
Today's-contacts
This option will list all the outstanding contacts for the ID of the user currently selecting the option.
Company or Customer
This option gives you access to the linked CRM record.
Create-contact
This option will only be available if the account is linked either directly to a Customer or to a Company which in turn has customer records linked to it (in which case you will be asked to identify for which customer you wish to create the contact). A new contact record will be opened in which the details of any contact may be entered, and a course of follow-up action defined. Using this feature allows all other members of staff who utilise the CRM system to be aware of any issues relating to the selected account.
Clicking on the Print button will produce a print of the currently selected account. These prints will only be released to the printer upon exiting the Display Account details option.
Click the Casefile button to review the Casefile notes of the currently selected account. Casefile details include such items as Notes on an individual, Outstanding contacts raised, low credit level and whether the account is on stop.
Click the Quickmail button to send an E-mail to other users regarding a problem with a particular transaction. The format of the E-mail messages is controlled by the Autoline standard format stationery layout code KQM or user defined alternative UQM (U denoting user-defined as opposed to Autoline standard). To this pre-formatted message you can add further individual text, as well as defining which user or users to direct the mail. For more details on the functionality of E-mail see the System Utilities on-line help.
