Verify SL Deposits

Warning: This option can only be run when there are no other users in the Sales Ledger module.

This option performs a verification of the outstanding records in the deposits file with the balances on the Sales Ledger Accounts to which those deposit records are attached. This option initially produces the validation report as a display grid. However from within this grid you have the option of printing a report.

When you select this option from the menu you are presented with the Verify Sales Ledger Deposits form which has the following buttons available.

Verify

Click this button to run the procedure and perform the verification of the Sales Ledger Deposit balances.

Exit

Click this button to cancel the procedure and return to the Sales Ledger Miscellaneous Options menu.

Click this button to access the online help on this topic.

Verifying

Once you have clicked the Verify button on the previous form you will be presented with a form which has the initial grid with the following headings upon it.

Account, Customer Name, Account Total, Deposits Total and Difference.

Within this form you have three buttons available for use in the following manner.

Print

Click this button to print the validation report to the selected printer.

Cancel

Click this button to clear the grid and return you to the Verify Sales Ledger Deposits form. Click the Exit button here to return to the Sales Ledger Miscellaneous Options menu.
