to access the SEMS search form. From the displayed form, search criteria can be entered to filter the records rather than having to display the complete list of SEMS records. Once the correct record has been found it can be selected and therefore loaded into the Seasonal Equipment main form.
To access the Search SEMS form:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point of Sale option and Company you require.
The Point of Sale menu is displayed.
Select the Seasonal Equipment Manager option.
The Seasonal Equipment Manager form is displayed.
Select the SEMS Ref No: option and click on the to access the Search form
The SEMS search form is displayed.

From the Point of Sale WIP form.
Click on Links on the Point of Sale menu bar.
From the Drop down menu select Seasonal Equipment Manager.
The Seasonal Equipment Manager form is displayed.
Select the SEMS Ref No: option and click on the to access the Search form
The SEMS search form is displayed.
What do you want to do?
The SEMS Search master form is displayed when you click the from the Seasonal Equipment Manager in the Point of Sale interface.
Tip: The Search button needs to be pressed to show results in the lower grid on this form. Leaving the box blank displays all records in the grid after the Search button is pressed
SEMS no: Enter/displays a numerical value between 1 - 9999
Vehicle ID: Enter the Registration number of the Vehicle to display the record in the lower grid.
Equipment Type: Click on the
to select the appropriate type. All records of this type will be displayed in the lower grid.
Customer Surname: Enter/displays all records held against a specific Surname; for example SMITH
Company Name: Enter/displays all records held against full or part of a specific company name on a vehicle record (for example:BROWNS)
Search Criteria Buttons:
Search button: If the SEMS Search Master form fields are populated (more than one field can be populated for each search)the Search button will need to be actioned to find records associated with the search criteria. The search result will be displayed in the lower grid.
Reset Button: Use this button to clear the Search criteria in preparation for restarting the search process (This will not clear the search results from the lower grid.
OK button: Use this button to load a selected record (from the lower grid) from the search results displayed.
Tip: You can also select a record by double clicking a line from the search results displayed in the lower grid.
Lower Grid:
First column:SEMS No:
Second column:Vehicle ID:
Third column:Equip Type
Forth column:Customer Name
Fifth column:Company Name
From the SEMS Search form click on the to display the range of Equipment Types available and select the appropriate type. All records of this type will be displayed in the lower grid after the Search button is clicked.
