This option is used to edit the automatic WIP quantities which may require fine tuning. The WIP quantity (topping up to Maximum) is often reduced, but could equally be increased for other scenarios.
Note: Once the WIP quantities have been checked and changed as required, the user must run the Replenishment routine (create the WIP's) before exiting the program, otherwise the changes are lost.
What do you want to do?
This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Point of Sale > Create replenishment WIP's > Select Imprest Account > Click the Wip column quantity of the part to be maintained.
Imprest Accounts with matching Area:
Account: Imprest SL account customer.
Name: Name of the Imprest account held on the Sales Ledger.
Current: Quantity in the Imprest customer's bin for the selected part.
Maximum: Quantity held on the imprest account/part number record.
Demand: Quantity required to top up the imprest bin to the maximum level for this account.
Fields:
I want: Displayed field derived from the Maximum quantity less Current quantity on this part for this account.
I have on B/O: Displayed quantity that is on Back Order for this Imprest account
Available: Displayed quantity in bin location 1 (only) minus the total number of backorder's.
Demand: Displayed total quantity required to top up all imprest accounts for this part number.
Allocate: Maintainable WIP quantity used to populate the WIP automatically for this Imprest account.
Buttons:
OK: Save the new allocated quantities.
Cancel: Returns to the main Create Imprest WIP function without applying any maintained information.
Click into the Allocated quantity data entry field.
Amend the Allocated quantity.
Click the OK button to save the maintained quantity.
