The Create Imprest WIP's function enables the automatic creation of a wip for each imprest account, with part numbers that require to be topped up to their maximum levels.
Note: Part numbers are only created where there are sufficient quantities available in the main bin location, the Maximum level of an imprest account/part number record is set to the same quantity initially transferred to the imprest account.

This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Point of Sale > Create Imprest Wip's toolbar button.
Imprest Accounts Area:
Account: The Imprest SL account customer.
Type: Imprest account type.
Short name: Short name of the Imprest SL account.
Name: The name of the imprest account held on the sales ledger.
Stock Details Area:
Product: Part number as stored in the stock management system.
Description: Description of the part number as defined in stock management.
Current: Current part quantity recorded / held against the selected imprest account.
Maximum: Maximum part quantity recorded / held on the account/part number imprest record.
Available: The available stock with the parts bin location 1 (only) minus the total number of backorder's.
B/O: Number of lines on backorder for this Imprest account only.
WIP: Quantity that will be used to populate the automated wip to top up the Current quantity to the Maximum quantity for this Imprest account.
Line Class: Defines the part category or group parts of the part, for usage in reports.
Buttons:
Exit: Returns to the main Point-of-sales function.
Main stock: Enables the maintenance of a parts main stock maximum quantity.
Copy: Copy the contents of the grid into the Windows clipboard.
Paste: Paste the copied Window's clipboard to Word, Excel.
Update Maximum: Updates the maintained parts Maximum quantity.
Create Maximum: Displays the Create Maximum form and allows the creation of a new account/part number imprest record.
Tidy Redundant: Removes all un-used part records (Current stock and Maximum equal to zero) from the Stock details area.
Return: Creates a WIP for the account selected and populates the wip with all part numbers with excess stock in the imprest account.
Replenish: Creates a WIP for the Imprest account selected, containing the part numbers that are available to be supplied.
Shortage: Prints the Imprest Shortage Report (KIS) containing a list of the of part numbers that can not currently be supplied for the select Imprest account.
Radio Buttons:
Show all parts: Refreshes the form with details of all Imprest Stock parts for the selected Imprest account.
Clicking the Show All radio button lists all part lines associated with the selected Imprest Account.
Note: The default is to De-select, only listing the parts where the Max storage quantity (Maximum) is non zero and where the Max storage quantity is greater than the total quantity in location(1).
Clicking the drop down located next to the Type data entry field displays a list of the available Imprest account types.
Clicking an Imprest account type from the displayed list filters the imprest accounts displayed based upon the selected type.
Note: The default selection is All types.
No Action: The current imprest quantity for this account is equal to the Maximum level.
Over stocked: The Current imprest quantity for this account is greater than the Maximum.
Can't supply OK: The Available stock in location(1); is either zero or negative.
Can supply: The Available stock quantity in Location(1) has sufficient quantity to top up the Current quantity to the maximum level and could create a transfer wip.
Supply with caution: There is some available stock in location(1) but insufficient to top up to maximum; this could leave zero stock in location(1),
Redundant Line: Both the Current and Maximum levels are zero, the line is available to be removed from the imprest file using the Tidy redundant button.
Clicking a Product within the Stock Details Area display the Stock Record form.
Clicking a Create Maximum button displays the Create Maximum form.
This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Point of Sale > Create replenishment Wip's toolbar button > Create Maximum button.
Fields:
Part No: New Imprest Record part number
Maximum quantity: Imprest part required maximum quantity.
Buttons:
OK: Creates the required new Imprest part record and returns to the main Create imprest Wip's function.
Cancel: Cancels the creation of a new Imprest Part record.
Enter or selected the required part number.
Enter the required maximum quantity.
Click the OK button to create the new Imprest part record.
