Displaying the History of a WIP

A facility is available that enables you to display a list of all transactions in the header log file for the current WIP.

To display the history of a WIP:

  1. Load the Point-of-Sale WIP for which you want to display the history.

    The File menu is displayed.

  2. Select the History option from the File menu.

    The History of WIP [WIP number] form is displayed. When you have reviewed the details, click the Close button.

This form is displayed when you select the History option from the File menu. It shows the history for the current WIP.

For each transaction, the following details are displayed:

Date: The date of the transaction.

Time: The time of the transaction.

User: The user ID of the person that performed the transaction.

Action: This is a single-character code that denotes the document type. For example:

Document: The document number.

Tip: Clicking a document number enables you to load the WIP back into Point-of-Sale ready for crediting.

Archive: Number assigned by the system when the document is archived.

Status: The status of the document from the log header file. This field may be empty or set to one of the following statuses:

Account: The Sales Ledger account number.

Operator: Operator's code, updated whenever the WIP is edited.
