Parts Point-of-Sale Operation

The Point-of-Sale system is capable of executing all of the day-to-day requirements of a Parts and Service department. Most of the functions performed by a parts department involve the creation of a line on a WIP which is controlled by the parts status code. This code may be different for each part line entered onto a WIP.

The labour details entered onto a WIP are also controlled by a labour status code. As with parts lines, the labour status may be different for each labour line entered.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you familiarise yourself with the layout and functionality of the Point-of-Sale form before you begin.
