The transaction enquiry program allows you to search for a record on the parts log file or parts archive file. This is a more specialised version of the ad-hoc enquiries program.
To perform a transaction enquiry:
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the Reports & enquiries option.
The SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Transaction enquiries option.
The Transaction enquiry form is displayed.
Enter the criteria against which you want to search.
The Transaction Display form is displayed.
Note: The fields on the Transaction Display form are also displayed on the Movement tab of the stock record.
The Parts Log Transaction form is displayed.
The Transaction enquiry form is displayed when you select the Transaction enquiries option from the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can search for a transaction based on the criteria that you specify.
Menu Icon Description Options > Filter Displays a list of transactions that match your criteria Options > Reset Clears the fields on the form Options > Exit Returns you to the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu Other > Reverse order Displays transactions in reverse order
Search for:
Date decarded: The date on which the part was decarded from stock.
Tip: Use the North and South arrow keys to advance/demote the date by one day.
Date last edited: The date on which the WIP was last edited.
Audit number: The audit number allocated by the system at the time the part was de-carded/added to stock.
WIP number: The Work-in-Progress record number.
Bin location: The bin location on the stock file.
Part number: The part number on the stock file.
Batch/serial number: The batch or serial number assigned to the part when it was received or sold, if applicable.
Filter on:
Vehicle: The CRM vehicle record number. Click the Ellipsis button
to search for a record.
Order status: The parts order status.
Customer: The CRM customer record number. Click the Ellipsis button
to search for a record.
Invoice status: The invoice status. I, X, C or H.
Salesman: The number of the POS operator that sold/purchased the part.
Record type: The record type. Sale or Purchase.
GRN ref: The Goods Received Note number.
Sales:
Account: The Sales Ledger account number.
Invoice no: The POS document number.
Purchase:
Account: The Purchase Ledger account number.
Advice (P/O) number: The parts/sublet Purchase Order number.
