Edit Purchase Price Form

This form is displayed by clicking on one of the values in the Purchase Summary form. It allows discounts to be given to customers by replacing the figure in the Purchase price field, either with the new lower price, or an amount to subtract preceded by a minus sign.

Warning: Be careful not to enter a amount that is greater than the original price. Price increases cannot be actioned on this form and attempting to do so may produce very large discounts.

Note: Only one discount can be selected at any one time.

Discounts on different components of the total purchase price have different codes:

• Discounts on the List price or Vehicle total default to the V code.
• Discounts on the Total excluding VAT default to the T code
• Discounts on the Total purchase price do not have a default code. One of the following codes must be entered:
  • F: Factory and Vehicle list
  • T: Total purchase price
  • V: Vehicle list price
  • %: Percentage of the list price. If using this code the figure in the Purchase price field must be a percentage.
