File usage statistics form

The File Usage Statistics form displays up to the first twenty files in a table format with statistical data regarding file usage for each file in the database. This form is displayed when you select the File usage statistics option from the MS UTILITIES MENU.

Note: If any of the files are over eighty per cent full, they are highlighted in yellow. Files over ninety per cent full, are highlighted in red. If a file is registering nearly full, contact Software Support.

No: Sequence number

Sh: The two-digit mnemonic file short name.

Name: The full five-character file name.

Desc: The file description.

File Size: The pre-allocated file size in records.

In Use:The number of records that are in use.

Warn: The pre-determined warning level for the file to be included in the report produced by the Timed Operations Schedule.

Index: The percentage full situation with regard to the index area.

Data: The percentage full situation with regard to the data area.

PUSH BUTTONS

Exit: Returns you to the MS UTILITIES MENU.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.

Print: Prints the graph to the printer (if the designated printer is suitable).
