Sales Ledger Accounts

To assign a sales ledger account as a Trade Club member you must first ensure that the 6 character trade club number is in the last six spaces of the top line of the address.

Tip: The address can be found in the Sales Ledger account header.

There are two reasons for having the Trade Club number on the first line of the address:

1. The Trade Club number appears on the invoice printed in Point-of-Sale.

2. It is automatically made available in Point-of-Sale when a Trade Club transaction takes place.

For example, within the training system account B0003, Brownlee Motor Company Limited has an address that begins:

Yew Tree Garage

This would be amended to:

Yew Tree Garage 123456

The above example displays the 123456 as the trade club number.

Note: The trade club number must only appear in the last 6 spaces of the first line of the address.
