In order to ensure that the system correctly identifies service work, Point-of-Sale (POS) operators must use valid service codes that are flagged to update the next service date of the marketing vehicles (that is, those codes flagged with a Y in the Service column). These codes are maintained in Point-of-Sale (POS) Miscellaneous options.
To access service codes:
From the Autoline menu, select the Point of sale option and the required company, and click OK.
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the Miscellaneous options option and click OK.
The SO MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the Service codes option and click OK.
The Service codes form is displayed.
