This form displays the parameters the CAS interface needs to collect customer / company data into one or more export files for uploading to the CAS system, where the data is checked against the sanction lists. With the report upload functionality is is also possible to check all new customers/companies created, in case the online interface is not available.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer Specific > MB. Mercedes-Benz > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to + Marketing parameters > +CAS Interface > [Company] on the Project parameters browser.
Fields:
Activate interface: Select to activate the interface for the selected CRM company.
External system ID: Select the external system ID. This external system ID is required for the functionality of uploading files to CAS using the data server. A map between the external system ID and the CRM company is created in the StarConnect data server parameters.
Note: Once the mapping is made (or if it is already existing as a result of another interface) the mapping cannot be changed in the CAS interface parameters. Changes will have to be made in the StarConnect data server parameters. The External system ID is displayed in the CAS interface for reference only.
GSSN ID: Enter the GSSN ID of the retailer on company level. The GSSN ID will be included in the file name and referenced in the data as well.
Country code: Select the country code the dealer is operating in.
Schedule:
The schedule section in the CAS interface parameters allow the definition of what type of export should be performed by the timed operations option.
Note: The CAS export (Option MBCAS01) still needs to be scheduled in Timed operations.
Delta check
Frequency: Select the frequency the data needs to be exported to the CAS system.
0 - No frequency selected
1 - Daily
2 - Weekly
3 - Monthly
Day to run on: Depending on the frequency selected, select the correct day the export should be run.
Weekly - Select the day of the week (Monday to Sunday) the export should be run.
Monthly - Select the exact day (1 to 28) of the month the export should be run. When leaving this field blank, the export will run on the last day of the month.
Base check
Next run: Enter the date the next base export should be run.
Last run
For reference the date and time the CAS interface last run is displayed.
Date / time: Displays the date and time when the last export was run. This field is not editable.
Note: The communication type (CAS_CUSTOMER_BATCH_CHECK) is automatically created in the Communication Types tab of StarConnect Data Server communication module, when saving the CAS interface parameters, providing that the interface is activated and an External system ID mapping exists for the CRM Company.
