VSB Quick Reports

Fields

Terminal number: Indicates the terminal number for which a new menu option Reports is displayed in the Vehicle administration program.

Tip: With a right-click in the list you can add or delete a terminal number in the list of terminal numbers. This is only possible when you are in edit mode.

Tip: The terminal number is the Terminal number of the user. The additional menu option Reports can only be displayed on the specified terminals (computers). You can freeze the terminal number of the user via the environment variable TERMFILE. In this TERMFILE the concerning Computer name is linked to the specified terminal number. This specified terminal number should be available in the Terminal details of the System Utilities module. Please contact the system administrator, if you need to know the specified terminal number(s) for the concerning computer(s).


Report: Type up to five Quick reports for use in the new menu option Reports of the Vehicle administration program. These five reports are displayed in the menu option for all listed terminal details.

Note: Prior to filling the menu each report definition is checked. If the report does not exist, it is also not displayed in list of the new option menu Reports. When a report appears dimmed in the new option menu Reports, the report is unavailable, please make sure that the concerning report is compiled, so that the user can print this report.

Description: Indicates the description of the report.

Note: For users with unlisted terminal numbers the defaults of terminal number 0 are retrieved, provided that these settings are stored. In case these settings do not exist the defaults are checked for company 00 and terminal 0.
