With Mercedes-Benz Quality Control (ISO9002) activated the creation or opening of a Point of Sale WIP, makes the Final control field on the WIP's Options tab available.

When a WIP's Final control option is selected and the work is completed on the WIP (all labour lines completed) the WIP is marked for checking and processing via the new Quality Control (ISO9002) functionality.

Quality Control WIP statuses:

Awaiting final control: Select the progress status of WIPs identified as requiring quality control checking from the list with available WIP statuses. When you do not want to use the Quality Control functionality, set this status to Not activated.

QC check in progress: Select the progress status of WIP's identified as being processed through quality control checking from the list with available WIP statuses. To skip this use Not activated.

Check completed: Defines the progress status of WIPs identified as having been successfully processed through the quality control checking system from the list with available WIP statuses.

Failed QC: Defines the progress status of WIP's identified as having failed the quality control check from the list with available WIP statuses. To skip this use Not activated.

Note: To make sure the current core functionality of WIP status updates keep working as designed, it is important that the sequence numbers used for quality control statuses are higher than the Completed status and lower than the Invoiced status as show in the example above.

Note: The quality control statuses chosen for: Failed QC / Awaiting Quality Check / Quality Check in Progress / Quality Check Completed should be in the exact same order as above.

Note: Make sure the chosen codes for the quality control statuses are different from codes already in use (for example: M, D and/or X).
