Maintaining Quality Control Questions

You can create and maintain Quality Control questions for a specific question type.

What do you want to do?

• Add a questionnaire question.
• Amend a questionnaire question.
• Delete a questionnaire question.

Question Maintenance Form

This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Quality control (ISO9002) and click the Question Maintenance toolbar button or click the Options > Question Maintenance menu bar command.

Question type: Select a questionnaire type.

Grid:

Code: Displays the questionnaire type.

Sequence: Displays the sequence of the question within the questionnaire.

Question: Displays the description of the questionnaire question.

Type: Displays the type of answer expected.

Length: Displays the length of the question answer.

Buttons:

OK: Saves the maintained questionnaire.

Cancel: Cancels the maintenance of the questionnaire.

Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Adding a Questionnaire Question

To add a questionnaire question:

1. On the master menu, select Point of Sale > Quality control (ISO9002), click the Question Maintenance toolbar button or click the Options > Question Maintenance menu bar command.

   The Question Maintenance form is displayed.

2. Double-click the blank gridline.

   The Question form is displayed.

3. Enter the fields and click OK.

   Saves the question and returns you to the Question Maintenance form.

Amending a Questionnaire Question

To amend a questionnaire question:

1. On the master menu, select Point of Sale > Quality control (ISO9002), click the Question Maintenance toolbar button or click the Options > Question Maintenance menu bar command.

   The Question Maintenance form is displayed.

2. Double-click the gridline concerned.

   The Question form is displayed.

3. Enter the fields required and click OK.

   Saves the question maintained and returns you to the Question Maintenance form.

Deleting a Questionnaire Question

To delete a questionnaire question:

1. On the master menu, select Point of Sale > Quality control (ISO9002), click the Question Maintenance toolbar button or click the Options > Question Maintenance menu bar command.

   The Question Maintenance form is displayed.

2. Double-click the gridline concerned.

   The Question form is displayed.

3. Click Delete.

   A message is displayed.

4. Click YES.

   Returns you to the Question Maintenance form.

Question Form

This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Quality control (ISO9002), click the Question Maintenance toolbar button or click the Options > Question Maintenance menu bar command, and double-click the gridline.

Type of check: Displays the questionnaire type.

Question code: Enter a code to distinguish questions within one questionnaire type.

Question seq.no: Defines the sequence of the question with in the questionnaire.

Question: Description of the questionnaire question.

Type: Defines the type of answer expected.

• C   Comment / Text: Displays a the question as a comment, no answer can be given.

• X   Yes, No, N.a. (Not applicable): Only one of these three answer can be given.

• S   String: The question answer is a text.

• N   Numeric: The question answer is a number.

• D   Date: The question answer is a date.

Numeric field length: Enter the length of the question answer.

Buttons:

OK: Saves the maintained questionnaire question.

Cancel: Cancels the maintenance of the questionnaire question.

Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Delete: Deletes the selected questionnaire question.
