Purge Retail Interface Logging

When you import and export the CRM data, a log file is written. To purge the log file a separate option is written.

To access the Purge retail interface logging option:

  1. Select from the Main menu the Manufacturer System option, combined with company MB.

    The Mercedes-Benz Main Menu is displayed.

  2. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, the Menu - Marketing option.

    The Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu is displayed.

  3. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu the Menu - Retail Interface option.

    The Menu - Retail Interface menu is displayed.

  4. Select from the Menu - Retail Interface menu the Purge retail interface logging option.

    The Purge CRM logging form is displayed.

Purge the logging

Before clicking the Purge logging button, you have to select the concerning Log type from the list.

When you start Purge logging a message is displayed.

Are you sure?

Click OK or Cancel.

After the running Purge logging, a message will display the number of log file that are deleted.

The parameter that is set up to contain the number of days after which the log file should be cleaned, controls the regular purging of log files. As soon as the Retail Interface is entered the check is done.

Log type: Filter on the various log files that you want to purge.

ES - Export summaries
IE - Import errors
IS - Import summaries

Menu Bar and Toolbar

Menu bar Toolbar Action
File > Exit Exit Leaves the program and returns to the menu.
Purge > Purge logging -

Purges import and export log files of the Retail interface.
