Contact Parameters

Before using the Retail Interface - Export to CRiS, you need to set up the Contact parameters.

The Contact parameters option enables a user to set up which customer contacts are exported to the CRiS system.

The Contact parameters are applicable for existing CRM records. You can set up the Contact parameters per Marketing company in Autoline.

All contacts that are exported must match one of the Contact parameters.

To access the Contact parameters:

  1. Select from the Main menu the Manufacturer System option, combined with company MB.

    The Mercedes-Benz Main Menu is displayed.

  2. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, the Menu - Marketing option.

    The Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu is displayed.

  3. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu the Menu - Retail Interface option.

    The Menu - Retail Interface menu is displayed.

  4. Select from the Menu - Retail Interface menu the Contact parameters option.

    The Retail Interface - Contact parameters form is displayed.

Fields

Marketing company: The list on the form display the contact parameters of the selected Marketing company.

In the list all added contact parameters are displayed, containing the fields: Contact group, Contact code, Export and Include customer. The selected Contact parameter is highlighted in blue.

Note: All customer contacts that are exported must match one of the Contact parameters.

Create or change the Contact parameter

To create or change the Contact parameter:

  1. Select from the Main menu the Manufacturer System option, combined with company MB.

    The Mercedes-Benz Main Menu is displayed.

  2. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, the Menu - Marketing option.

    The Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu is displayed.

  3. Select from the Mercedes-Benz Marketing menu the Menu - Retail Interface option.

    The Menu - Retail Interface menu is displayed.

  4. Select from the Menu - Retail Interface menu the Contact parameters option.

    The Retail Interface - Contact parameters form is displayed.

  5. Click the New or Amend button.

    The Edit parameter record form is displayed.

Fields

Contact group: Indicates, which Contact group you want to set up for export. You can set up Contact groups in the Miscellaneous options menu of the CRM module.

Contact code: Indicates, which Contact code you want to set up for export. You can set up the Contact code in the Miscellaneous options menu of the CRM module.

Export contact: Select if you want to export contact with the specified contact code and contact group.

Include customer: If Export contact is selected, you can choose to include the customer for export as well. Not ticked means that the contact is exported without the customer. Thus to import the contact on another system, this customer should be present already.

Contact strength: Select the contact strength applicable to this contact. The contact strength list is set up on the Contact Strength tab of the CRM System parameters.

Saves the changed or new contact parameter.
