Pre-order print for customer acknowledgement

To make the printing of the Pre-order documents for customer acknowledgement available in Point-of-Sale, there are some conditions to be met

Note: Please make sure you have set up the parameters of the Pre-order printing functionality.

The Pre-order printing functionality is used via actioning a WIP in Point of Sale

Print the Pre-order document for customer acknowledgement

When all conditions are met the Pre-order document can be printed when you click the Pre-order button in the Action for form of Point of Sale. Make sure the WIP has some order lines.

To print the Pre-order document for customer acknowledgement

  1. Select from the Main menu the Point of Sale option, combined with the concerned company.

    The Point Of Sale menu is displayed.

  2. Select from the Point of Sale menu, the Point-of-sale option.

    When applicable make a selection of Parts or Service.

    In addition, (if needed) choose an operator.

    The Point Of Sale form is displayed.

  3. Open the concerned WIP.

    The WIP is displayed in the Service Point Of Sale form.

  4. Select Action from the File menu.

    The Action For ... form is displayed.

  5. Click Pre-order, to print the Pre-order document for customer acknowledgement.

    The document is printed and the WIP is automatically closed. When no WIP number is available a new WIP number is created.
