You can print a multiple invoices based on the identification and concatenation of the WIP lines via various warranty or payment codes, instead of creating several different invoices for a WIP.
To print multiple invoices:
On the master menu, select Point of Sale > Point-of-Sale select the Parts or Service option, and enter your Operator ID, search for the WIP required and click the Action toolbar button or click the File > Action menu bar command, click the Print button to print, fax or email the invoice.
The Multiple Invoicing form is displayed.
Select or clear a gridline for printing to multiple invoicing in the Print column.
A tick is displayed if the labour and/or parts are processed with the multiple invoicing.
Click the icon or the Detail
icon to amend the multiple invoice details of the gridline selected.
The Multiple Invoicing Details form is displayed.
Enter the fields required and click OK.
Returns you to the Multiple Invoicing form.
If applicable, enter the Account or click the Ellipsis button to search for a sales ledger account.
The chosen sales ledger account is displayed.
If applicable, select or clear a gridline with the same sales ledger account to print to a separate invoice in the Separate Invoice column.
A tick is displayed if it concerns a separate invoice.
If applicable, select or clear a gridline to overwrite the customer details with the account name and address in the Change address column.
A tick is displayed if the address needs to be overwritten.
Click the Process button.
The the multiple invoice process is run and returns you to the WIP.
This form is displayed when you click Point of Sale > Point-of-Sale select the Parts or Service option, and enter your Operator ID, search for the WIP required and click the Action toolbar button or click the File > Action menu bar command, click the Print button to print, fax or email the invoice.
Invoices to Print Grid:
Print: Select or clear to add the labour and/or parts to the multiple invoice.
Note: All gridlines are selected by default.
icon: Click to display the Multiple Invoicing Details form.
Wcode: Displays the the warranty or payment code used to link parts to a labour line in order to assist at the time of costing the job.
Lines: Displays the number of lines to be invoiced and available per Wcode.
Total amount: Displays the total value of the invoice, plus the currency.
Account: Enter the sales ledger account to which the WIP lines are invoiced or use the Ellipsis button
to search for a sales ledger account.
Separate Invoice: Select or clear that a separate invoice is required for the same sales ledger account number.
Account name: Displays the sales ledger account name to which the WIP lines are invoiced to.
Detail
icon: Click to display the Multiple Invoicing Details form.
Prev.
icon: Click to preview the pro-forma invoice.
Change address: Select or clear to overwrite the customer details with the account name and address.
Buttons:
Process: Prints the selected invoice lines using the multiple invoice process.
Cancel: Returns you to the selected WIP without processing the invoices.
Original: Prints the WIP invoice using the standard invoice process.
