Price Change Analysis

To access the Price Change Analysis, you must:

• From the Main Menu, select the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu option.

• From the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, select the Menu-Parts option.

• The Mercedes-Benz Parts menu is displayed.

• Select the Price Change Analysis option.

• Select the company from which you want to analyse the update from your pricefile.

  Within this screen it is possible to sort your parts on certain criteria. These criteria are pre defined and are fields from both the pricefile and the stockfile.

• Select the selection criteria's you want sort your stock file on.

• Make a choice between the analysis on Retail-price or Purchase prices.

• Enter the date when the price became effective.

• Press the Analysis button to make the analysis.

  The analysis is started.

Explanation of the analysis, from the left to the right:

The first three fields are the fields on which you can sort the stockfile. After every change of sort field, a summary is given.

The Current Items field contains the number of partlines found within the sort.

The Current buy stocked is the number of stock of the lines that belong to an item.

Current average item is the Current buy stock divided by the current items.

The Next Items field contains the number of partlines found within the sort, after the stock has been updated.

The Next buy stocked is the number of stock of the lines that belong to an item, after the stock has been updated.

The Next Average Items field contains Next Buy stock divided by the current items, after the stock has been updated.

The last two fields are the difference in percentage between the stockfile and the pricefile.

At the bottom of the analysis, is a total of the displayed lines. It is possible to click ones with the left mouse button on a line (except for the total line), a detailed specification of the parts containing the line is given.

It is also possible to print this analysis by selecting the little printer button in the right hand corner.
