For the standard supersessions you have to set up parameters.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Parts > Supersession creation > Edit > Options menu bar command.
Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Available Parameter Records Grid:
It is possible to create a parameter record for every stock company.
Company: Displays the stock company.
Supersession type: Displays the C-Code description.
Settings:
Company: Select the stock company required.
C-Code: Select the supersession type required.
Supersede this type: Select to super-seed the selected C-Code.
Transfer stock: Select to transfer the quantity on stock to the new part.
Transfer P/O: Select to transfer the parts currently in backorder.
Transfer B/O: Select to transfer the quantity on stock to the new part.
Transfer history: Select to transfer the sales history from this part.
Zero demand on old part: Select to remove the sales history on the old part.
Check before processing: Select to make sure the check is done before processing.
Reset re-order category on old part: Select to reset the re-order category on the old part to the ‘superseded re-order category’.
Transfer part description: Select to transfer the description.
Create from price file: Select to create the part from the price file when it does not exits in the stock file.
C-Code in description: Select to precede the superseded part with the C22, C23 code.
C99-Code in description: Select to put the C99-code in front of the description of C99-lines.
Update sales and purchase text: Select to update sales and purchase text.
