The Proxy server details form maintains proxy server settings required for the interfaces concerned. The proxy server settings are a common use in Autoline.
To create a proxy server settings record:
Click the Edit > New menu bar command.
You can enter the required information in the fields specified.
Complete the proxy server settings (the IP number or hostname and Port number fields are mandatory), and click the Edit > Save menu bar command.
The proxy server settings are validated on IP number or hostname and Port number fields, and the Proxy ID is automatically generated.
This form is displayed when you want to maintain the proxy server settings. It is common use in Autoline and can by accessed via several functions.

Edit > Save | Saves the entered data of the proxy server settings record. |

Fields:
Proxy ID: Displays the unique ID for the proxy server settings record. This ID is automatically generated when saving a new record.
Description: Enter the description for this proxy server entry, this naming is displayed in the concerning Proxy server fields. The Description is an optional field, if it is left blank then the IP number or hostname and Port number are displayed in the concerning Proxy server fields.
Connection details:
IP number or hostname: Enter the IP number or host name of the proxy server.
Port number: Enter the port number of the proxy server which is used to establish the connection.
SSL encryption: Select if the port on the server requires a secured connection (HTTPs) to transfer the data encrypted, or clear this field if the port on the server is a non secured connection. The non secured connection transfers the data without using data encryption. This SSL encryption field concerns the part of the communication between the Autoline server en the proxy server. Basically SSL encryption is used for HTTPs traffic to secure the data which is transferred. This means that also the proxy server should handle SSL encryption, if required.
Authentication details:
User ID: Enter the user ID which is used for authentication on the proxy server. The User ID is an optional field.
Password: Enter password which is used in combination with the User ID for authentication on the proxy server. The Password is stored in encrypted format and is an optional field.
